CHRIS Enhancement

Since the release of the Community Housing Regulation Information System (CHRIS), we have been receiving feedback on how to improve the functionality of CHRIS. We are making some minor changes to take account of this, by:

  • Enhancing the existing validation rules to cater for data entry for all tiers. Where it is not required, data entry can be omitted.
  • Allowing for evidence attachments to be deleted by providers prior to the Return being submitted.
  • Creating a new function by which data for CHAPR can be entered directly via the portal.

How will providers be impacted?

From 1 July 2015 all new Returns for either Registration or Compliance will use the new CHAPR online form.

For providers who have begun completing a Return for either Registration or Compliance assessment before 1 July 2015, there is no impact. You will see some new questions in the Return but can continue to use the existing CHAPR and FPR spreadsheet as evidence for the submission.
