As at 30 September 2015, 46 eligible community housing providers in South Australia have successfully completed the transition to registration under the new National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH).
Peak bodies and some providers in the jurisdictions which participated in the Compliance pilot have raised concerns with Registrars in regards to the lack of notice and limited time for commenting on the evaluation report of the NRSCH Compliance Pilot Review.
This year a number of Tier 1 and 2 registered community housing providers participated in a pilot round of standard compliance assessments under the NRSCH.
As at 30 June 2015, 128 eligible community housing providers in New South Wales have successfully completed the transition to registration under the new National Regulatory System for Community Housing.
Since the release of the Community Housing Regulation Information System (CHRIS), we have been receiving feedback on how to improve the functionality of CHRIS.
The Expressions of Interest process for individuals interested in serving asm of the National Regulatory System for Community Housing Advisory Committee is now open.
The first providers have now been registered under the National Regulatory System for Community Housing. These providers appear on the National Provider Register.
