The NRSCH is designed to identify, monitor and respond to risks that have serious consequences for tenants, funders and investors, community housing assets and the reputation of the sector.

It aims to monitor provider risk in ways that maintain a minimum level of oversight for providers that are consistently compliant with the National Regulatory Code.

A Compliance Framework has been developed to support regulatory engagement between Primary Registrars and housing providers for the purposes of monitoring provider compliance with the outcomes and requirements of the National Law.

Guidance on completing a standard compliance return is available in Provider Guides.
